How to deal with oil refinery sludge?

Refinery sludge refers to a mixture of oil, water and solids. It is generally produced in the process of oil extraction, transportation and refining. It contains crude oil or refined oil mixed with sediment or other substances. Among them, the effective oil cannot be directly separated and recovered, which will have an impact on environmental resources and pollute soil and water sources. Therefore, it is necessary to process the waste sludge to separate oil, water and solids. The traditional methods are as follows：

1. Incineration method: the oil sludge is pretreated by modulation and dehydration first, the concentrated sludge is then dehydrated and dried by a sludge dryer, the mud cake is sent to the incinerator for incineration, and the ash is used for road construction or buried. Developed ash landfill.

2. Thermochemical washing method: The hot water washing method is mainly used for oily sludge with many particles and large particles. Generally, it is washed repeatedly with hot alkaline aqueous solution, and then gas-liquid separation is realized by air flotation.

3. Solvent extraction method: Generally, the technology of processing oily sludge with small particles and oil content of 10%-20%. The process flow is to dissolve the oily sludge first, and after stirring and centrifuging, part of the organic matter and oil are extracted from the sludge pull out.

These methods are unable to completely separate the sludge, and the separation effect is not ideal. At present, the commonly used method is the sludge cracking method, also known as the sludge pyrolysis treatment process.

The pyrolysis process for sludge treatment

Put the oily sludge into the disc sludge dryer, and in the case of sealing without oxygen, the raw material is heated externally to vaporize the oil in the raw material, and then the condensable oil and gas produced by heating are processed by a professional condensation system. It is cooled into oil and collected into the oil tank. Part of the non-condensable gas can be used as a heat source for heating after being purified by the exhaust gas purification system. The generated ash is collected and processed uniformly. The oil content of the ash after thermal cracking does not exceed 3/1000. it will not cause pollution to the environment, it can not only completely separate the sludge, but also meet the environmental protection standards of the sludge treatment method.
